SERVES FOUR
300 G DODONI FETA
1 EGG
1.5 DL BREADCRUMBS
0.5 DL OLIVE OIL
2 TBSP BUTTER

Coated Feta (Saganaki)

  1. Cut the cheese into slices.
  2. Beat the egg. Dip the cheese slices into the egg and then roll them in the breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan and fry the cheese slices
    until both sides are beautifully golden brown.
  4. Serve immediately with a light green salad, capers and lemon, for example.

Coated feta (Saganaki) works as both a starter and a light evening meal, depending on the portion size. Pairs excellently with beer.
