Coated Feta (Saganaki)
- Cut the cheese into slices.
- Beat the egg. Dip the cheese slices into the egg and then roll them in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan and fry the cheese slices
until both sides are beautifully golden brown.
- Serve immediately with a light green salad, capers and lemon, for example.
Coated feta (Saganaki) works as both a starter and a light evening meal, depending on the portion size. Pairs excellently with beer.
