This is a Dutch goat’s milk cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk. During the long ageing process of GOLD Gouda, protein crystals are formed that have a slightly salty flavour. It is an aromatic cheese that is a nice addition to any cheese platter or as shavings in salads.
